This material is used to create unique accessories, which are hand-dyed using an ancient technique called Shibori. With water, color, folds or yarn, the fabric is first dyed, then spread out to dry in the air, and then re-dyed up to seven or eight times. The thread used for ethical wool accessories is peace silk, which takes the color of the rest of the scarf, shawl or poncho during the fastening process. Included in the purchase you will have a gift box consisting of a handcrafted bag signed by hand with the logo and a leaflet that talks about the work and philosophy of Bettina Buttgen and one that shows you the various fits of this garment.
Each stole is a unique garment, individually made by hand.
